As a peer-to-peer counselling centre, we want to be as diverse as possible. Do you have training or a degree in social work and are you willing to undergo training to become a trans* counsellor? Would you like to become part of the team?
Vera looks forward to talking to you. We offer you a professional framework for your voluntary work. At tra*BS, you can use the counselling room. We coordinate enquiries and appointments.
Through QNN, we are involved in the development of a quality assurance system.

Georgie Feldkötter is the tra*BS’ main trans* counsellor. They recently finished their Social Work studies and were able to gain a lot of experience in working with (queer) children and teenagers. Therefore, they are well versed with their needs and point of view.
By having an open-minded and low-threshold oriented professional understanding, they also offer a friendly and comfortable counselling experience for adults.

As the Trans*Coordinator of the VSE e.V. Gesa handles all topics that are not within the actual task of counselling. These include, for example, public relations, lectures, maintenance of the tra*BS website and much more.
Also, when necessary, she substitutes in counselling as well.

Jeanne successfully completed the trans* counselling training in 2025. Since then, she supports old and young in the tra*BS as a volunteer counsellor. Jeanne’s counselling is guided by a great deal of intercultural experience, some decades of queer life experience, and a lot of heart.

The Onkel Emma counselling team consists of professionally instructed people with multiple years of experience. They have personal and/or professional involvements with queer topics, and they work on a voluntary basis. The counseling takes place within a secure space in the Onkel Emma or a prior agreed upon location.
The Counselling team can help with the following topics: Coming out, relationships (romantic and platonic), sexuality, sexual- and gender identity, questions about transitioning, DSD (Differences in Sex Development), experiences with sexual violence, new life-orientation and general crisis counselling.
